About Jeff Huckaby Specialty Painting

When I was a younger painter, I “enjoyed” painting. As I have grown older, that general enjoyment has blossomed in to a true passion. I began painting professionally in 1996 and have enjoyed many unique opportunities to grow and stretch my abilities under the tutelage of talented designers here in Florida. However, it was not until I began to travel to Europe twice a year beginning in 2001 that I really understood what obsession over one’s craft could be. While I will be forever grateful to the designers that I met when I began to paint, the exposure to the painted ceilings and walls of France and Italy have affected my sense of color and scale in ways no individual could. A fire sparked on that first trip that only grows hotter and brighter as time passes.

I love every step involved in decorative painting: the research, the designing, the actual painting, but best of all, the happy clients at the end of the process! My goals are always to do my best work every time and to ensure that those who have allowed me to create something for them are happy.
